About Pocket Garden & how to play

Pocket Garden

Plant a seed. Add a little water. Make something lovely.

A calm introduction to planting and growing. Younger players can explore the immediate changes with an adult.

How to play

  1. Choose a flower seed, then tap an empty pot to plant it.
  2. Tap a planted pot to water it and watch it grow.
  3. Follow the planting goal or keep exploring the garden after a round.

A worked example

Choose a seed and tap an empty pot. Tap the planted pot twice more to bring it into bloom. A planted seed and a bloomed flower are different stages, so check both counts.

Choose your next round

Grow two of each of the three flower types across six pots, or choose your own mix. Replant a pot clears it so you can make another choice. There is no timer or competitive score.

Try it together

Talk about what changed after each tap. For the two-of-each goal, count each flower type separately. This is a small imaginative activity, not a simulation of real plant care.

There are no time limits or penalties. Optional read-aloud uses hosted recordings where available and a browser voice for other sentences. For grown-ups & privacy
